The goal of the Tabernacle Baptist Church Family Life Counseling Center is to provide a caring atmosphere in which persons can move toward realizing their full potential. The Ministry seeks to promote healing and meeting the emotional needs of God’s people through the uniting of church and community resources, Christian professionals and peer counselors/ therapists, support groups and personal FAITH in God the father, the son and the Holy Spirit.

This Counseling Center is not intended to replace pastoral counseling, but to assist the Pastor as he determines necessary.  The Center operates under strict confidentiality guidelines. Periodic reports are provided to the Pastor. However, names and circumstances which would reveal a person’s identity are not divulged without authorization. Counselors advise persons when the rights of confidentiality do not apply according to State of Kansas laws.

Clients with issues outside of the center’s expertise will be referred to qualified resources.
