As I write this article, I am anxiously awaiting the last night of our youth led revival.  I have thanked God for the first two nights as Pastor Bertrand Bailey has so effectively and wonderfully communicated the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all ages.  I’m thankful for his gift and for the fact that God has so gifted him for this moment in time.  I’m appreciative of the fact that he preaches with such clarity and with such simplicity that even a child can understand him. 

I pray that God will continue to bless you through the balance of this summer. I pray for the faithfulness of this Body, for your recognition that your commitment is essential and I pray to God that you pray for the keeping power of God in terms of our family life for this summer.   It is a gift and a blessing in and of itself.   Let me again strongly encourage you to give us whatever gift of your time you can arrange for.

Pray for our summer outreach.  This year we have a special event planned that I know that you will enjoy.  We will again allow our young people to lead and all of you support a summer youth revival; more about that in upcoming publications.

Pray for your church, commit to your support and pray for your pastor.
